The deadline to order this year’s yearbook is March 28, 2024.

Yearbook Art Cover Contest

Deadline: Friday, February 2nd

The Yearbook Committee is hosting its annual Yearbook Cover Contest. The committee is looking for a front and back cover that represents the spirit of All Saints Catholic School and incorporates our theme – Behold I make all things new.

To submit an entry, please note the following:

  • Make sure your entry is on two pieces of plain white paper. The finished size of each page of your design must be no larger than 8 ½ x 11.
  • Lightly write your name and your teacher’s name on the BACK of each page.
  • Please DO NOT sign your name on the front of these pages.

Mrs. Shumway will be introducing the contest during art classes in the coming week. Entries are due to Mrs. Liu no later than Friday, February 2, 2024. The winning entry will win a free Yearbook. We look forward to seeing your amazing artwork!

RSVP for our Open House – January 11

All Saints Catholic School will host an Open House for prospective parents for the 2024-25 school year on Thursday, January 11 at 7:00 PM.  Following a presentation and introduction, tours of the facility will be provided. Plan to attend and experience the dynamic, Catholic environment of All Saints Catholic School.

All Saints Christmas Pageant – December 18

Students in grades K, 1, 4, 5, and 6 will be participating in the annual Christmas Pageant, The Living Crèche. The Pageant will be held in the church. Please see detailed information below:

Monday, December 18th, 2023

7:00 PM – (6th graders report to the PAC Atrium at 6:25 PM; all other grades report to the narthex of the Church at 6:45 PM.

Parents/ family members who are unable to attend the evening performance are more than welcome to attend the daytime performance, which is at 1:45pm in the Church.

Attire: Festive, “Sunday best” attire (except for costumed 6th graders). See the dress code below.

Dress code:

Girls: dresses, skirts, or nice dress pants (no bare shoulders or sleeveless dresses; the length may not be shorter than two inches above the knee), blouses or sweaters that are not form-fitting, with a neckline that is an appropriate length (i.e. just below the collar bone); Jeans, jeggings, leggings, or tights used as pants are not permitted. Sweaters should not have words or characters pictured on the front.

Boys: shirts and/ or sweaters (no sleeveless; sweaters should not have words or characters pictured on the front) and dress pants that are appropriate for church (i.e. navy blue, black, gray colored) and appropriate socks (dress socks).

#GivingTuesday Matching Gift Goal Met

We are thrilled to announce that with your support, our school raised $12,290 on Giving Tuesday, meeting our $10,000 Matching Gift Challenge. The total raised to date for our 2023-2024 Annual Fund including the generous $20,000 gift, is $32, 290.

The goal for this year’s Annual Fund Campaign is $35,000, in support of the following initiatives:

  • Technology Lab Upgrade
    Install upgrades throughout the technology lab to improve and expand technology resources available for students
     
  • Resource Program Materials
    Purchase standing desks in classrooms for students in our resource program and add document cameras in the classrooms.
      
  • Learning Tools & Subscriptions (K-8)  
    Support annual subscription services, such as First in Math, Brainpop, etc.

Welcome the Pilgrim Virgin Statue Home

Beginning in October, the month devoted to the Holy Rosary, All Saints Catholic School families are once
again invited to renew their devotion to Jesus through Mary in a special way. On Friday, October 6, two
statues of Our Lady of Fatima will begin traveling to the homes of school families for week-long visits.

Pilgrim Virgin Statue Program

Pick up time for the Statues at the front office is before 2:30 PM on Friday with a return time of before
9:00 AM the following Friday. Please be sure to sign in and out for the Statue in the Visitor Binder at
the front desk.

While the statue of the Blessed Mother is in the home, families are encouraged to pray together either
part of or the entire five-decade rosary for the intentions of our school, as well as for their private
intentions. The presence of the Pilgrim Virgin Statue is certain to increase your devotion to Mary and to
bring you and your family closer to her Son.

All Saints Launches Aviation Club

It is with great excitement that we announce a new after-school STEM enrichment program for our second grade students. Starting this fall, All Saints will begin offering an Aviation Club for second graders to explore the inspiring world of flight through hands-on interactive demonstrations, crafts, and games.

Each session of the Aviation Club will include 15 students led by school parents Mr. & Mrs. Briones, whose son Leigham is in first grade. Mrs. Briones earned her Masters of Aeronautical Science from Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University and applied her knowledge and experience in developing this engaging program. 

Topics covered in this nine-week mini-course include: four forces of flight – thrust, weight, drag, lift; main parts of a airplane; aviation terms; business aviation in action; and special aviation projects. The cost to participate is $30 per student. 


Aviation Club – Lottery Registration Information

If your student is in second grade and has an interest in participating in the Aviation Club, please see the schedule below. Note that due to limited space, registration will be offered through a lottery system. Currently Lottery Registration is only open for Session I.

  • Session I – Program Dates
    Wednesdays (3:00 – 4:15 PM): November 8, 2023  – January 10, 2024

    Lottery Registration is now open until Tuesday, October 17. Names will be drawn on October 18 and all who apply will be notified of their status after that date. 

    If you are interested in placing your child’s name in the lottery to participate in Session I of the Aviation Club, please print and return the “Lottery Registration Form” below to your child’s teacher by Tuesday, October 17.

Es con gran emoción que anunciamos un nuevo programa de enriquecimiento STEM después de la escuela para nuestros estudiantes de segundo grado. A partir de este otoño, Todos los Santos comenzará a ofrecer un Club de Aviación para los alumnos de segundo grado para explorar el inspirador mundo del vuelo a través de demostraciones interactivas, manualidades y juegos.

Cada sesión del Club de Aviación incluirá 15 estudiantes dirigidos por los padres de la escuela, el Sr. y la Sra. Briones, cuyo hijo Leigham está en primer grado. La Sra. Briones obtuvo su Máster en Ciencias Aeronáuticas en la Universidad Aeronáutica Embry-Riddle y aplicó sus conocimientos y experiencia en el desarrollo de este atractivo programa.

Los temas tratados en este minicurso de nueve semanas incluyen: las cuatro fuerzas del vuelo – empuje, peso, resistencia, sustentación; partes principales de un avión; términos de aviación; la aviación de negocios en acción; y proyectos especiales de aviación. El coste de participación es de $30 por estudiante.


Club de Aviación – Lotería Información de Inscripción

Si su estudiante está en segundo grado y tiene interés en participar en el Club de Aviación, por favor vea el horario abajo. Tenga en cuenta que debido al espacio limitado, la inscripción se ofrecerá a través de un sistema de lotería. Actualmente la inscripción por lotería sólo está abierta para la Sesión I.

Penny Bazaar – October 31

It’s Penny Bazaar time again! This annual event for grades K-8 will be held on Tuesday, October 31 from 1:30 – 2:30 PM, in the back parking lot.  Full of games, candy, prizes, and cupcakes, this is a fun filled hour to end the day.

Please send your child to school with a bag of pennies, and a bag to hold their prizes in.  Each game will cost a penny to play, and cupcakes can be bought for $0.10.

Parents are welcome to attend the event and are encouraged to volunteer or donate items.  All volunteers must be VIRTUS compliant.  It’s a great way to earn Points!
