Founded in 1957 by All Saints Parish and the Benedictine Sisters of Bristow, VA, All Saints Catholic School has provided a Catholic education to thousands of young students over the past 65 years. When the school began, students in kindergarten and grade one received instruction at the Benedictine Monastery located on Linton Hall Road. With the addition of second and third grade, the school moved to the National Guard Armory in the fall of 1959. All Saints has been located at its present site since October 1960, with building expansions in 1985 and 1999 (see below).
Pre-Kindergarten to 8th Grade
All Saints Catholic School offers a dynamic learning environment for students throughout Manassas, Manassas Park, Bristow, Nokesville, Gainesville, Catharpin, and Haymarket. Throughout its existence, All Saints has consistently enrolled students in grades one through six. With rapid growth in western Prince William County and an increasing demand for Catholic education, Pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, seventh and eighth grades were added to meet the needs of the time.
Recognizing the need for additional classroom space, All Saints Parish has supported two major additions to the school. In 1985, the Father Kelly Wing, which includes the library, two classrooms and a multi-purpose room, was added. The two-story school was completed in 1999, providing the All Saints community with a state-of-the-art facility. This newest wing includes rooms designed for instruction in the fine arts, a computer/robotics lab, resource room, Spanish classroom, science lab, and pre-kindergarten classrooms. All Saints is a dual-track school offering two classes per grade level from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade.
Exciting Things are Happening at All Saints
Under the leadership of a lay principal, assistant principal and experienced faculty, the mission of educating the whole child within the framework of our Catholic faith continues to thrive. All Saints students live their faith through prayer and service to others. We begin each day together in prayer as a school community. As the church bells ring at noon, we pause school-wide to pray the Angelus, and end each day as we started, together in prayer. In addition to daily religion class and sacramental preparation, our students attend Mass each week, and take part in on-going faith experiences and traditions that coincide with the liturgical year.
Our strong academic focus includes school-wide STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) initiatives starting in kindergarten and continuing through middle school:
- All of our classrooms from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade are equipped with ActivPanels.
- Chromebook carts are available in grades 3-8 so teachers can enhance learning by bringing technology into their classrooms
- iPad carts are available in pre-kindergarten through second grade to integrate into the curriculum
- Middle School – 1:1 Device (Chromebook) Program
- Google Classroom
- Grades 7-8: Video Production Specialty Program
- Grades 7-8: VEX Programming
- Robotics Club offered as an extracurricular activity
