Christmas Joy Toy Drive for St. Gabriel Mission

Families may choose to donate new unwrapped toys and to bring “Christmas Joy” to a child this Advent season.  The NJHS will sponsor a toy drive to benefit the children of the Saint Gabriel Mission between December 5 – December 16.
Toys may be dropped off in the breezeway entrance during morning arrival.  Members of the NJHS will arrange for delivery to the Saint Gabriel Mission.

Hearts Afire – Collection for Medical Missionaries

Hearts Afire, a special needs social group, will be collecting items to make hygiene packs for Medical Missionaries, a non-profit, volunteer group of doctors, nurses, dentists, and others who work to improve the health of the poorest of the poor in the U.S. and throughout the world by providing medical care, supplies, clothing, and food to the areas they serve.

The collection will take place November 28 – December 2.  Students are invited to drop off items in the donation boxes that will be located in the New Breezeway Entrance.

Items we are collecting:

  • Toothbrush (individually wrapped)
  • Toothpaste
  • Bar Soap
  • Washcloth
  • Lip Balm
  • Shampoo & Conditioner

Bread of Life Food Drive Results

Thank you to everyone who contributed so generously to All Saints Catholic School’s 2nd Annual Bread of Life Food Drive, March 30 – April 8. At the conclusion of the drive, we donated over 3,000 pounds of food to the St. Lucy Project and All Saints’ Bethany Food Pantry. Your contributions of fresh fruits and vegetables and non-perishable food items helped individuals and families throughout Prince William County who are struggling with food insecurity.

As noted by Mr. Conroy in the April 13 issue of The Sentinel, “We are so proud of our students for their enthusiastic support of this outreach, one that will directly benefit families who experience food insecurity in our region. I wish to thank Mrs. DeBruyne, Mrs. Bill, and Mrs. DeVore, as well as the students of the National Junior Honor Society, for coordinating the many details related to this program.”

Congratulations to the following classes that donated the greatest amount of food items during the collection.

  • 1st Place (Chick-fil-A Lunch) – 4A (542 Donations)
  • 2nd Place (Dress Down Day) – 1A (495 Donations)
  • 3rd Place (Extra Recess) – K2 (470 Donations)
