Middle School Introduces 1:1 Device Program

All Saints is pleased to announce that we will transition to a one-to-one device program in the middle school beginning in the 2017-2018 academic year. Students in the program will have access to a Chromebook for their use throughout the school day and at home.

In advance of the new year, 6th & 7th grade parents and students are asked to read and discuss the following program handbook:  One to One Technology Policy Handbook 2017.

What are the next steps?

On Orientation Day, 6th & 7th grade parents and students are asked to visit the Computer Lab and submit the following:

  • Technology Acceptable Use Policy (p. 23)
  • Chromebook Technology Use and Support Fee Form (p. 24/Fee of $125.00 payable to All Saints Catholic School)
  • Chromebook Policy Handbook Form (p. 25)

When will my child receive a Chromebook?

The Chromebooks will be distributed to students during the first two weeks of school after the teachers have reviewed and discussed policies and procedures.

We look forward to implementing this program that will continue to transform the teaching and learning process at All Saints.

Band Wins Recognition at Music Festival!

Last Friday both the All Saints beginner and advanced bands performed at the High Note Music Festival in Hershey, Pennsylvania.  Our advanced band performed extremely well and was awarded “Superior” ratings from both judges.  Our beginner band, performing for the first time ever at the Festival, earned “Excellent” ratings from the judges and played their best ever. The trip to Hershey was a tremendous success, beginning with a traditional Amish breakfast in Lancaster, followed by the bands’ performances and the remainder of the day spent at Hershey Park.  Congratulations to Mr. Ward, Mr. Sawasky and all of the students on this wonderful achievement!

All Saints Announces Plans for 60th Anniversary Celebration

All Saints announced plans to celebrate the school’s 60th anniversary in style during a surprise student assembly on Monday, May 22. The event featured a birthday skit written by former All Saints teacher Mrs. Lewis and performed by an all-star cast of All Saints teachers and clergy (Fr. Juan). The Master of Ceremony was none other than Mr. Tessier, All Saints religion teacher and Director of Youth Ministry. The end of the skit featured the introduction of a surprise guest … the All Saints Eagle mascot.

Our Lady of Fatima Miraculous Medals

In celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the appearance of Our Lady at Fatima, on Friday each of our students received a blessed Miraculous Medal as well as a book of the Fatima story.

These gifts have been provided through the generosity of Mrs. Eileen Heim, grandmother of Mrs. Parriott, who wishes that each family have the opportunity to learn more about devotion to Our Lady on the occasion of this special Feast Day.
