CYO Basketball – Save the Date
Save the date for CYO Boys and Girls 3rd-8th Grade Basketball. Registration for the 2024-2025 CYO Basketball season will be open from September 15-October 15. We are still seeking head and assistant coaches for some grades. If you are interested in coaching, please email Laurie Short, Assistant Basketball Commissioner, at glshort1@comcast.net. You must be certified for Diocesan child protection (including VIRTUS™) before working with participants. If you are not, we can help you get the process started.
Boys and girls in grades 3-8 are eligible to participate in the All Saints Parish’s JCYO basketball program. Practices typically start in October with one practice session per week, on a weeknight. Each coach plans their own schedule, and some like to have both a weeknight and a Saturday practice before game play begins in early December. There is a great opportunity for parents interested in coaching, but not sure of taking a team on their own — become an assistant coach and learn the league system before stepping up to take on your own team.
