2025-2026 Boys and Girls CYO Basketball Registration

CYO registration for 2024-2025 Boys and Girls Basketball will be open from September 15 through October 12.  Boys and Girls from both the Parish and the School in 3rd-8th Grade are eligible to participate. 

Practices are one weeknight a week in the All Saints Gym and start the week of November 4. Games are on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the Diocese. Sunday games start after 12:00 PM. There will be 2-3 preseason games in December. Regular season games take place in January and February 2026.

The cost is $75 per player.

There will be a preseason skills clinic for boys on Sunday, October 19 and for girls on Sunday, October 26. Afternoon times to be announced.

All Saints CYO relies on the volunteerism of parents and members of our All Saints community. We are still seeking head and assistant coaches for some grades, especially for 3rd grade. Please email Laurie Short, CYO Basketball Commissioner at glshort1@comcast.net). If you are interested in coaching, you must be certified for Diocesan Child Protection (including VIRTUS™) before working with participants. If you are not VIRTUS-certified, please let us know and we can help you complete the process.

The mission of the Arlington Diocesan Junior Catholic Youth Organization (JCYO) is to organize sports programs through its member parishes for youth to reinforce Catholic values taught in parish schools and religious education programs. In addition to encouraging healthy physical activity, JCYO sports are designed to foster cooperation, respect, sportsmanship, responsibility, leadership, competitiveness, fairness, and courtesy.

On August 12, 2025, Most Reverend Michael Burbidge, Bishop, Diocese of Arlington, announced that Papal Honors were granted to 50 members of our Diocese. 40 of those received the Benemerenti Medal (“To one who is well-deserving” in Latin). It is a medal awarded by the Pope to members of the clergy and laity for service to the Catholic Church.

Anne Carroll is the founder of Seton School, Manassas.

Morena Guzman Rodriguez y Rolando Rodriguez are from St. Gabriel Mission, Manassas Park and were founding members of the mission.

Robert Tessier is the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry at All Saints Parish, along with being 7th & 8th Grade Religion Teacher at All Saints Catholic School, and Director of Upper Room Theatre Ministry at All Saints.

To all of them we offer our heartfelt congratulations and prayers in recognizing the service they have done to the Catholic Church. Please join me in congratulating them.

Hoy, 12 de agosto de 2025, el reverendísimo Michael Burbidge, obispo de la diócesis de Arlington, ha anunciado que se han concedido honores papales a 50 miembros de nuestra diócesis. Cuarenta de ellos han recibido la medalla Benemerenti (“A quien es merecedor” en latín). We are excited to announce the start of our first annual “Math Madness in March” championship challenge through Primero en matemáticas! The championship, modeled after March Madness, has begun this week with a qualifying round, generating the top/Sweet 16 classes in the school.

Each week, the bracket will continue; narrowing it down to the “Elite 8,” followed by the “Final 4,” and eventually the Championship! The winning class will be announced on Monday, March 31. Competition will be counted through weekly sticker counts. Students earn three stickers per problem solved in Primero en matemáticas. 

The overall winning class will get to play a basketball game with Fr. Daniel as their reward!

As a reminder, students can log in through devices at home, as well, to access problems. If you need your child’s login information, please don’t hesitate to reach out to their homeroom teacher!
