Please see information below for commonly asked questions regarding the All Saints PTO Used Uniform Sale.
- What is the PTO Used Uniform Sale?
Parent volunteers with the PTO operate a gently used uniform program for the parents of All Saints Catholic School. The gently used uniforms made available for purchase through the program are donated by school parents as their children who attend All Saints grow out of, transition into a new uniform, or no longer need particular items.
- Where can I leave donations of used, but gently used uniforms, for the PTO Used Uniform Sale?
The front office accepts donations throughout the school year and during their summer hours.
- What does the PTO Used Uniform Sale consider as gently used uniforms?
Clothing containing holes or significant stains should not be donated as they cannot be sold back into the school community. If you are unsure, we ask that you consider the following question when evaluating an item for donation “If you came across the item at the sale would you purchase it?
- Where can I donate items that are not gently used uniforms?
For school safety and security purposes we ask that any used uniform with a school logo be donated to the House of Mercy to be turned into RAGS. It is imperative when dropping off such a donation at the House of Mercy you separate them from other items being donated and identify them as donations for their RAG program.
- How often does the PTO Used Uniform Sale occur?
PTO hosts three uniform sales throughout the year. The first sale occurs the first Friday in August from 9 AM – 11 AM. The second sale occurs three weeks before (on a Friday from 8 AM – 10 AM) the change to winter uniforms on All Saints Day. The third sale occurs three weeks before (on a Friday from 8 AM – 10 AM) the change to spring uniforms on the first day back from Spring Break.
- Can I shop the PTO Used Uniform Sale outside of a PTO hosted sale time?
To provide the school community with equal access to the available uniforms the school does not allow shopping outside of a PTO hosted sale. However, if there is an emergency or extenuating circumstances that warrants an exception to this policy we ask that you please reach out to Miss Mallon to discuss further.
- Where does the PTO Used Uniform Sale inventory come from?
The inventory comes exclusively from the generous gently used uniform donations from families in our school community. We are thankful for and encourage donations year round.
- What forms of payment are accepted?
Cash, check, or credit card.
- Does the PTO Used Uniform Sale keep backstock of items at each sale to pull from?
Every single item received is put out for purchase during each sale hosted by the PTO. We do not keep any items in “backstock” to pull from or restock the sale.
- What should I bring with me to the sale event?
We do not provide bags or carts to used as you shop or at check-out so we encourage you to bring your own bag.
We encourage you to bring a list of the uniform requirements for your child(s) grade to work from as you shop. The uniform requirements vary by grade and since the sales are worked by parent volunteers many are only familiar with the requirements for their child(s) specific grades. Please see this link to the Dress Code/Uniform requirements.
- Can I bring my donation to the sale?
Absolutely! If you have donations and are headed out to shop one of our three sales, please bring them with you. We have volunteers who process donations as they come in so we can make them available for sale immediately during the three sales.
- Is it possible to shop the sale if I am volunteering at the sale?
Absolutely, we allow volunteers who are working the sale to shop the sale when they arrive to volunteer, and before the doors open.
- Where does the money from the hosted sales go?
All of the money made during the sales directly supports all PTO initiatives.
- Can I earn Family Stewardship Program points for donations made to the PTO Used Uniform Sale?
