Will it? Won’t it?? The previous spring-like temps have tanked, and now we wait and see…
The children added another letter to their growing list and did writing for their melted snowmen (up on the bulletin board – so cute!) We talked abut Jesus as our Good Shepherd, who wants to lead us where?-to Heaven (ask them-I bet they can tell you!) They also wrote about how we can follow Jesus and made sheep for a future bulletin board. We discussed all the animals that hibernate and made our hibernating bear craft. In Math, the children have started learning about tally marks and graphs – we have been using graphs since school started, so that is fairly easy. Soon, we move on to fractions (believe it or not!)
Wishing you a “white weekend”, and hope the children enjoy it all, no matter how much we get!

Homework should be an easy review, and your child should be able to independently complete it in 5-10 minutes. This gives your child a chance for valuable practice with what they are learning. If they do not complete important class work, I will send it home to be completed at home. There is no homework on Friday nights. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’r hesitate to contact me – firstname.lastname@example.org.
