Principal’s Message

Beginning tomorrow we will be implementing several efforts to fine-tune the afternoon dismissal process in the front parking lot. In an effort to maintain a well-organized system, we will return to our prior process of asking parents to wait in front of the parking bays until called to pick up their children. By restricting access to the courtyard and the area adjacent to the parish office until we are ready to begin dismissal, the safety of the children will be further enhanced.   In advance, thank you for your support of these procedures.

A few words about the uniform…I understand from parents that it has been difficult at times to purchase blue crew socks. For this reason, effective today, parents may purchase either blue or black socks for the boys’ uniform. This change will be incorporated in our uniform policy for the upcoming academic year.

Message from Fr. Bob

Dear All Saints School Community,

Earlier this month I used the special and most generous gift that you provided for me to celebrate my 35th Anniversary of Ordination to the Priesthood. I went on the all-expense paid two night stay, dinner, and round of golf at the Hyatt Chesapeake Resort in Cambridge Maryland. It was spectacular and the view of the bay so beautiful throughout the hotel grounds. The golf course was in pristine shape and provided many wonderful scenic and challenging holes. I invited my friend, Fr. Mike Bazan to join me and we had a blast. To top it off, I won the money on the golf…he had to pay me 70 cents! (which means I won 7 more holes than he did as we play for a dime a hole.) How sweet it was.

This past weekend the church celebrated Priesthood Sunday. I give thanks to God for each of you and how you have been such a big part of my priesthood the past 14 years. I remember how kind it was for you to celebrate my anniversary last May with the school assembly and want to say “Thank You” for the golf outing which provided two great days of fun and relaxation. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love and blessings,

Fr. Bob

Thanksgiving Luncheon

One of our cherished traditions at All Saints is the annual Thanksgiving Luncheon, a special meal prepared by the kitchen staff for students, parents, faculty & staff. In an effort to accommodate all of the families who attend and to reduce wait time, we will again be hosting four lunch seatings this year. The schedule for the Thanksgiving Luncheon is as follows:

11:00-11:40     Grades 6-8

11:40-12:20     Grades 4-5

12:20-1:00       Grades 2-3

1:00-1:40         Grades K-1

The arrival process will be the same as prior years with parents reporting directly to their son/daughter’s classroom. There, they will wait with their children, and when called by grade level, report to the cafeteria via the Father Kelley Wing.

So that the kitchen staff may begin planning for the event, please be sure to return your order form no later than Thursday, November 20th. We do hope that you will join us for this Thanksgiving tradition!
