Message from the Principal

I am pleased to share with you that both Mrs. Bill and Mr. Richardson are doing well and resting at home following their surgeries last week. They are both in good spirits and are surrounded by the love and support of family and friends. Let us continue to keep them in our prayers during their weeks of recuperation.
I would ask that you also keep Mrs. Engstrom, our P.E. teacher, in your prayers this week. She underwent oral surgery yesterday and will be out on leave through the remaining days leading up to the Christmas holiday. While she is absent Mrs. Stephanie Carley and Mrs. Lisa Stevens will serve as substitute teachers.

It has been a joy to stand in the breezeway entrance each morning and to observe the students bringing in toys. As of today, our school community has donated over 200 items for the Toys for Tots program. Additionally, the children have contributed more than $250.00 to benefit the ministries of Catholic Charities.

This morning one of the teachers shared with me that her class had collected $36.00 in support of this effort. She then went on to say that after making a contribution, one of her students went home and requested the opportunity to earn more money by completing household chores. He returned shortly thereafter with an additional $5.00 to donate to the cause. What a great example of sacrificial giving! Thank you, students, for your continued generosity and goodness!

On behalf of the faculty & staff of All Saints Catholic School, I wish all of you a blessed Christmas Season! May the holiday be filled with great joy as you gather with family and friends to celebrate the birth of our Savior!

A Prayer for Advent ~ Week III
Lord God,
may we, your people,
who look forward to the birthday of Christ,
experience the joy of salvation
and celebrate that feast with love and thanksgiving.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
