Happy New Year! I hope that you and your family enjoyed the Christmas holiday and the many opportunities to celebrate the season.
The second round of Scantron Testing will begin on Monday and extend through the next three weeks. Rather than having all of the students complete the assessment in the computer lab, we will now be utilizing the Chromebooks in the classrooms and the laptops in the library as the children have gained experience working with these devices. The format will be identical to that of the first round, i.e. approximately one hour assessments in math, reading and language arts.
The following is a copy of the testing schedule by grade level.
January 9th, 10th & 12th – Grades 3A & 5-7
January 18th, 19th & 24th – Grade 4A
January 18th, 25th & 26th – Grade 4B
January 24th, 25th & 26th – Grade 3B
As announced prior to the holiday, in accordance with the recommendation of the diocese that each school follow the decision of the local public school jurisdiction, All Saints Catholic School will be closed on Friday, January 20, 2017 in observance of Inauguration Day.
